We are here in Canada attending Kaye's son Eric's wedding. Tell Beth that my prayers will be with her. This is the first I have heard of her health concerns. I'll be in touch when we return home.

Almost exactly one year ago Beth I too was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma stage 2, I had a mastectomy, chemo and now take a hormone blocking pill. I also did breast reconstruction although I may have to go in for some more fixing. It has been a rough year but I managed to get through it with lots of help from friends and blessings. I am sorry you have to go down this road. It is amazing to me how many women are diagnosed. It seems to me that it is affecting more women now than it use to. I know you have a wonderful support system. I managed to work part-time and hardly missed a beat though I was tired and weak after I came home. I have very short hair now and you always had short hair! Although I would of loved to have it grow back in RED! But sadly I got dirty brown but no grey. Best wishes to you Beth. Somedays you may feel like you may never feel good again but you will! I could tease you that our job caused us stress :-) Do you still work at the CC?

write me and let me know how you are doing

Beth, Brenna just told me what is going on. I am glad to hear that you are progressing well and that they got the yucky stuff. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help, anything at all. You are in my prayers. Love you, annie
