Happy Halloween

Halloween is fun for everyone everywhere! The Texas Sanos had fun on a warm southern night. Remi was dressed up in this extremely clever Elevator costume lovingly made by his creative Momma.

Bridget wore the darling Minnie Mouse costume that Grandma Dearden gave her for her birthday last week. Her friend, Calli, made her this cute, cute cape to go with her costume.

AJ's family had a good Trick-or-Treating time also though we did not get photos.

As always there were dozens of doughnuts for the taking. We have been making doughnuts now for about 20 years. We talk about not making them but somehow we end up doing it every year. Once started, some traditions are hard to break! Oh, well, it is a delicious one that we can share with all our friends and loved ones.

Dallin - The Man

This was big day for Dallin...Having turned 12 yesterday, he was able to be ordained to the Aaronic Priesthood. He has made the step from being a little boy, to becoming a man.

The ordination was performed by his dad with Grandpa's Morgan and Sano and Uncle Jared assisting.
Dallin will be one of 5 deacons in their ward and gets be pass the Sacrament for the first time next Sunday.
It is always fun to share the special moments in the lives of our shared grandchildren with Cami's parents, Portia and Ron Morgan.
We are so proud of Dallin and the good choices that he is making! It is a joy to watch him grow up. We are also very proud of his parents for leading and guiding him in so many good ways. We echo the words of John: "[We] have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth". 3 John 1:4.

Bridget Turns Two

Bridget enjoyed a small family gathering at Grandma & Grandpa Dearden's home.

Obviously the theme was "Minnie Mouse" which included a fun Minnie dress and ears,...

...a talking Minnie doll, and Minnie shaped cookies and brownies. No party would be complete without cake and ice cream, too!
Bridget was a perfect party girl! Happy birthday, little one! We love you.

A Tidy Family Home Evening!!

For Family Home Evening on Monday, AJ's family helped us to haul our Fall clean-up stuff (branches, lumber, old air conditioner units, etc.) to the curb just in time for the city bulk trash pick-up day.

With their happy help we got it all done and were even treated to some of Grandpa Frank's fabulous pizza. Thanks helpers!! We couldn't have done it without you! Love you lots.
