Cooking with Grandpa
It takes a lot of work to serve up the kind of Christmas Eve meal that the Sanos are used to. This year 13-year-old Dallin spent the day before cooking with Grandpa. Dallin peeled shrimp until the skin on his fingers went all prune-like. Then Grandpa put him to work stirring the sauce.

What a Wind!!!!
Two weeks ago, Davis County, Utah, experienced what we call "East Winds" but which were in reality hurricane force winds. They did terrific damage to trees, homes, fences, windows, etc. AJ's home in Farmington was one of only a few in the neighborhood who did not suffer damage, however, they were out of power for 12+ hours. With the cold outdoor temperatures and no heat they were planning to campout at our home but just as they were heading out the door, the power came on. School was closed for the remainder of the week.
Katie's car was damaged when a piece of the parking structure came loose and scratched her hood as it swung back and forth in the wind. Later in the day she returned home to check on things and found that the parking structure had collapsed on her neighbors cars.

A Family Tradition
In Mia's school class, they were asked to share a family holiday tradition. She came over the other evening and made Strouffle (stroof-lee), an Italian pastry, with Grandpa. It was fun to have some one-on-one time with our sweet girl.

Bumming Around with Brenna and Bridget
It is a real treat for me (Beth) to spend some time each Monday at Brenna and Mike's home in Ogden. Since Brenna has been placed on modified bed rest for the remainder of this pregnancy, it gives me a nice excuse to go over and do some little projects that help her take it easy. Bridget is always a big helper.

We have Wrestlers in the Family
AJ's oldest boys, Dallin (age 13) and Ethan (age 6) have taken on a new sport. Above and below are shots of Ethan. He did so well in his matches.
